  1. Some Mac users can install Windows on a "virtual machine" on their Mac, then install the Windows version of WeatherLink Software on the Windows virtual machine. However, this solution isn't the easiest, especially for Mac users with an Apple Silicon Mac.
  2. There are third-party Mac weather station apps discussed on weather station forums. Howevver, Davis Instruments Technical Support cannot provide assistance with these apps or provide any recommendations concerning these app.
  3. Our recommended solution for Mac users is to move to WeatherLink.com. The WeatherLink.com platform runs on any web browser which is best-suited for Mac users. You can easily publish your weather station data to WeatherLink.com with a WeatherLink Live or WeatherLink Console.

Jan 1, 2020 we discovered a bug in the WeatherLinkIP datalogger that will prevent it from keeping its time properly synched with Davis servers and cause it to stop uploading historical archive records.  You may have noticed that when downloading archive records into your PC software or looking at archive records on weatherlink.com that they are not entirely up to date.  This firmware patch will fix that and ensure your weather station clock stays accurate and in sync.

Everyone using a WeatherLinkIP datalogger (p/n 6555) with their Davis weather station will need this critical update.

This critical firmware update can be found HERE.
